Instructions - Free Bubble Shooter

This game follows the usual rules of bubble shooters. See below for instructions.

This game increases in difficulty as you go through the levels. At first it's pretty easy, but wait until you get to Level 15 or 20.

HOW TO PLAY. Bubble Frog follows the usual rules of bubble shooters. Form groups of three-or-more of the same color to remove bubbles from the board as they drop.

At the bottom of the screen is your bubble cannon. The cannon is automatically re-loaded with one bubble of a random color each time it is fired.

Look at the color of the bubble loaded in the cannon. Then, examine the pattern of bubbles at the top of the screen.

Aim the cannon with your mouse. Click the left mouse button to fire the bubbles.

Bubbles may be bounced off the sides of the game board. However, when you shoot a bubble, it will stick to whichever bubble it touches first.

Often you'll need to very carefully aim to avoid the bubble sticking to a bubble of the wrong color.

Periodically, all the bubbles at the top drop one row lower. If one bubble from the top reaches the rope at frog-level, you lose one life.

You get 3 lives per game. The number of lives remaining displays in the upper left of the Bubble Frog screen.

This free bubble shooter game gets more challenging as you proceed through levels. About every 5 levels, an additional color is introduced into the game board. This increases the game complexity.

For the highest possible score, try to collect bonuses when they appear. Some of the bonuses are timed and count down rather quickly.

You'll see the bonuses become available periodically at the top of the screen. To collect a bonus, create a three-of-a-kind or more before the bonus points expire.

Bubble Frog itself is not on a timer. So take your time and concentrate to identify the best move. Sometimes you'll be able to eliminate a dozen bubbles at once if you aim wisely.

BLACK BUBBLE. Periodically a black bubble loads in your cannon. This bubble changes to the color of whichever bubble it touches first.

So the black bubbles are actually very helpful on a crowded screen where you need to quickly eliminate some bubbles from the top.

This game has a built-in leaderboard. So if you do really well, you may be able to post your name on the leaderboard.

However, I'm not sure whether the game developer is supporting the leaderboard at this time. My high score of 535,430 wasn't recorded. Perhaps a temporary glitch.

SOUND. A sound track plays in the background automatically. To mute the sound, simply click the speaker icon on the game screen.
